Secure
Managed and configured by the NETGEAR ProSafe Smart Wireless Switch (WFS709TP), the WGL102 is a “light� access point that implements the 802.11 standard. As part of the centralized architecture, much of the security configuration such as WPA2-Enterprise (802.11i), WPA2 and 802.1x support happens at the NETGEAR ProSafe WFS709TP. The NETGEAR ProSafe Smart Wireless Switch also supports MAC address authentication, support for multiple BSSID/ VLANs and guest/contractor access.

Dynamic
The WGL102 supports IntelliFi RF management technology in conjunction with the NETGEAR ProSafe Smart Wireless Switch. The ProSafe Smart Wireless Switch supports dynamic power level settings and adjustable radio management features.

Flexible
As part of the NETGEAR ProSafe Smart Wireless Solution, the WGL102 is cost-effective, compact, and simple to install and use. Integrated PoE support expands installation options by eliminating the need to locate near a power outlet. It is Wi-Fi certified and plenum rated for appropriate placement above drop-down ceilings and under raised floors. Fitted with one powerful detachable 5 dBi antenna and compatible with NETGEAR’s ProSafe 2.4 GHz antennas for expanded wireless capacity and range, the WGL102 is protected with a NETGEAR Lifetime Warranty†.
