Backup Exec 9.2 for NetWare - SAN Shared Storage Option - Retail Boxed

Increases backup performance and minimizes LAN bandwidth (via LAN-free backups). The SAN SSO allows tape libraries connected over a fibre-channel SAN to be shared dynamically between multiple NetWare 4.2, 5.1, 6.x and Windows Backup Exec servers. The drives are connected to each host via enabling hardware, such as switches or hubs. The SAN Shared Storage Option provides LAN-free backup increasing backup performance and minimizing LAN bandwidth. The SAN Shared Storage Option load balances activity across multiple Backup Exec servers, increases performance and backup speeds, centralizes management tasks, and lowers the total cost of ownership.
